Can I freeze GMG?
Garner Foods® does not advise freezing our products.

Can I still use any GMG products that have expired?
The shelf life of these products reflects the date by which the color, flavor and possibly other characteristics of the product will have declined to the point that it no longer meets company standards

Do any of your products contain MSG?
No, none of Garner Foods® products contain monosodium glutamate.

What allergens are in your products?
All products manufactured by Garner Food® are labeled as required by law to indicate the presence or potential presence of any of the “Big Nine”: milk, eggs, nuts, fish, crustaceans, shellfish, wheat, soy, and sesame.

Green Mountain Gringo® Salsa does not contain allergens but is manufactured on a line that produces products with a soy allergen.

Green Mountain Gringo® Tortilla Strips are produced on the same line as dairy and sesame seeds. There are no peanut allergens present in the facility or in the product.

What organization certifies Green Mountain Gringo Salsas and Tortilla Strips?
Green Mountain Gringo® Salsas are certified kosher by United States Kosher with oversight by Rabbi Bukspan.

Green Mountain Gringo® Tortilla Strips are certified kosher by the Orthodox Union with oversight by Rabbi Bistricer.

Is the corn in your Green Mountain Gringo® Tortilla Strips organic?
Green Mountain Gringo® produces and sells three types of tortilla strips:

1. Original Yellow Corn Tortilla Strips are not organic.

2. Made with Organic Corn BLUE Tortilla Strips are indeed made with organic corn and are labeled accordingly.

3. Made with Organic Corn White Tortilla Strips are indeed made with organic corn and are labeled accordingly.

Non-GMO Verified – The Non-GMO verified logo stands for the verification and assurance that a product has been produced according to consensus-based best practices for GMO avoidance.

American Vegetarian Association (AVA) – created to promote the interests and concerns of individuals and organizations involved in the preservation, propagation, and distribution of vegetarian ideas and products. The primary goal of the AVA is to provide a widely recognized certification program which will enable vegetarian-minded people to make accurate food choices, being certain they can be confident in their selection, and that of the manufacturer’s claims.

What products of yours are vegan?
The only product we manufacture under the American Vegetarian Association Recommended Certification are our Green Mountain Gringo® Salsas.

Do you offer coupons?
We do offer coupons from time to time. Watch your newspaper inserts for our advertisements containing coupons.

Do you offer plant tours?
Our Corporate Security Policy, which includes adherence to the 2011 Food Safety Modernization Act, prohibits our giving tours of our facility.

Can I purchase hats, t-shirts or other promotional items?
At present our store is not stocked with any promotional items.
